If anyone wants to follow the Townsend stuff, follow Griffin Beers on Twitter. I know for a fact his information is more secure than Tony Paul’s on the situation. Not a knock on Tony, but just the reality.
Michigan visit was NOT official. Did not go to Louisville.

Wish Trey the very best: great kid, great student and great family. Like other players pursuing the portal path, tend to think the transition will be more on the challenging side. Probably need a couple of years in any program to learn the system and make a mark.
Interesting how this all unfolded - or at least how it appeared. MSU didn’t need him for one year, OSU is just collecting players and Michigan is a mess. Definitely feel Arizona was the best available option. Best of luck….

Not sure I understand this one at all. Conway was set up and primed to be a dominant post scorer and top scoring option for this team. Hopefully the timing of this late jump to the portal doesn't affect the staff's ability to find another big man replacement. Not sure if any of the big man targets they had reached out to in the portal had looked elsewhere figuring Conway would be the primary post option. Wonder if one of the big men they were linked with, Antwone Woolfork (Rutgers), would've been much more interested in playing at Oakland after learning of this news. He committed to Miami (OH) last week. Haven't seen Oakland linked to any other big men targets in the portal other than him and Deng Majak (JUCO) who committed to Oakland earlier this offseason.

I wasn't expecting Conway to leave. That was the 1 position I felt settled with going into next year. I'm interested to see where he will land.
