This is it. The start to a much anticipated season. After the heartbreaking losses in March last season I really hope the shoe is on the other foot (our's) now. Hopefully it will be an injury free game and that the guys can build up a comfortable lead quickly so that everyone can play and we can see how everyone performs and where each player stands.

So glad to see the return of the game thread. One of the "best" board moments in my mind was the Oregon-OU thread from last year, where we were all on the edge of our seats listening to the call. Hopefully there will be more of those kind of nights igniting the board this season as well. For now, let's see OU come out and perform like a DI school over Hope.

I couldn't be more excited to start the season off tonight. I woke up feeling like it was just another Tuesday then remembered the game tonight and then a little grin came on my face Looking forward to a great opportunity tonight to see the depth of this team and also see some of the new offensive plays that were talked about being run in the open practice. Let the season begin.

I'm pumped to be finally watching an OU bball game tonight even if it is a preseason game. This game will be interesting to watch because we will probably end up seeing nearly every guy on the team play, which is something we wont see once the season starts. Lets not forget about the return of Peter Bunn to the O'Rena, haha

It seems as if this off season took forever to end, but it brings a joy to my heart to once again see the game thread on the blog. I am so happy the season is finally here!
Looking forward to a few things tonight...
1. Seeing our starting 5 tonight working together. 2. Interested in seeing Nelson and Wright out there at game speed. 3. A Maynard dunk. 4. Seeing Ilija for a number of solid minutes and if he has improved. 5. Seeing Thames on the court for the first time. Finally get to see what he is all about. 6. AND I can not forget the return of Peter Bunn!
(Feels a little like Christmas morning)

Hopefully this year of redshirting has done some positive things for him. He was rated fairly high when the staff recruited him afterall. Glad people are enjoying the game threads. I will make sure I have them up at least by the day of the games.

there is no radio broadcast either.....at least on WXOU. The game tracker is working but no video feed. Someone needs to get word to the O'rena to turn the camera on.
