Pretty entertaining game. I really liked what I saw in Wright -- he is a fundamentally sound player who can flat out shoot.
JJ is going to have 1000 assists this year -- everybody -- EVERYBODY -- can score.
Also impressed with Cush's shot -- looked smooth and on target. Maynard looked good as well.
Hudson looked really good. I hope he carries that over into the real games because he was aggressive and quick with his offensive decision making.
Benson added a few pounds. Going to be a beast.
I know I am a homer, but this looks like a MAC team to me. Really athletic, big enough, and can shoot. Need that D.

I just saw that... Thanks a lot CBS... Sorry you two had to go through that ordeal. Here's a tip for you. Go to channelsurfing.net to be able to at least view the OU home games. Tonights exhibition game was on there. Road games are a different matter but all home games are on that site as well as other collegiate and pro games. And to echo sectione4's statement yes the guys looked d@mn good. 97-62 romp with everyone getting a chance to play which is what I wanted to see. My only big/little concern is that the guys are still letting teams get to the rack just a bit two easily but I'm sure that will be addressed and taken care of in no time. So D@MN glad the season is finally here.

thanks for the tip. I visit Channelsurfing.net quite often, but it never occured to me that they would have an Oakland Exhibition game on there.
I always thought the game had to be televised to be on there.

Overall I came away very happy. Like E4 said (welcome back btw) everyone on the floor for Oakland can score, even our bench players.
We came out sluggish the first half (expected). However early in the 2nd half we look like a dominate team. Benson and Hudson dominated down low, and we played good defense. I am really excited about this team.
I came away very impressed with Drew Valentine. That kid is going to be a special player for us. He can shoot, drive to the hole, and he is a good rebounder! Kampe will have a tough decision to redshirt or not. He can play right now for us.
I also liked what I saw with Ledrick Eackles. He is very athletic, and he has good court vision already. It also seems like he can play both Guard spots, but seems like he is better fit as a point. Another tough decision for Kampe to redshirt him or not.
Thames didn't do too much today. He didn't play that much and didn't get that many touches. To me it seems like he will be on the end of the bench all year long.
Overall, this team is going to be great. I can't wait till Saturday!
Go OAKLAND!
