An early matinee game Sat. Can't avoid to have a letdown especially considering UofM has been a little better than expected and the game is at their place. They will be ready considering how extremely well the guys have played against the majors this season. How awesome would it be to have back to back wins against BCS teams on your resume. Let's get it done fellas!!

I'm excited for the number of Grizzlies fan that will be in attendance on Saturday. Glad to be going myself, especially since I love matinee college basketball games. I think we will have a notable presence in the stands, and here's to hoping our team has a presence about them on the court! Great preview as always, B&G. Definitely looking for a strong turnout of Grizzlies fans. The UM blue hairs are often a quiet bunch, so I hope we can make some noise.

from Michael Rothstein at annarbor.com Dude is tearing it up! Loved the article on LLP since guys sitting out kind of go unnoticed during the redshirt year. Interesting that Kampe had offered him three times. Good to hear he is all for OU now.

Seth Davis gives his thoughts and pick for the game on SportsIllustrated.comOakland (6-5) at Michigan (8-2) If I took this game in isolation, I would probably go with the Golden Grizzlies, even in Ann Arbor. But since they are coming off a headline-grabbing road win at Tennessee, which followed losses to Illinois and Michigan State, I'm guessing this is a team that is physically and emotionally spent. No, Michigan doesn't have anyone who can match up with man-child Keith Benson, the nation's second-leading rebounder, but the Wolverines will try to limit Benson by keeping this as a low-possession game. With sophomore point guard Darius Morris starting to come into his own, I think they'll be capable of doing just that. In other news, I heard that some national writer from the Sporting News read this and said, "Who is Keith Benson?"

Hey All, It's been a while since I've posted. Here are a couple things. 1. Anyone want U of M student section tix??? I'm a Grizz-erine(Grizzly-Wolverine). Undergrad @ OU (09') & currently in law school @ UM, but I will ALWAYS bleed black and gold. Why does this matter? Well, I'm talking to everyone I know here in A2 and trying to get as many student tix as I can. I've wanted to do this for a long time, infiltrate the U of M student section from the inside out! Let me know if you are interested in some student section tix and I'll see what I can do. I'm not trying to make any $$ off this, I just wanna make U of M recognize...read explanation below. I was at Crisler arena when OU played U of M in 2008, and got a bunch of crap from U of M personnel. Manny Harris was at the line and I made a couple bird & Xena warrior calls. He went 0 for 2. Next thing you know, Crisler staff are threatening to escort me out for being too loud and threatening to take my flag away because I was ruining a family event and disturbing the people around me. BTW, that was totally impossible considering the only ppl around me were some 15 other OU fans sitting alone in a corner section of the top bowl. Anyways, let's see them try and kick us out!! CAAAAW CAAAAW!!!! 2. For all those going to the game on Sat., the Alumni Association is having a pre-game brunch at Cafe Habana in A2. Here's the link: www.grizzlink.oualumni.com/s/1001/index.aspx?sid=1001&gid=1&pgid=506&cid=1146&ecid=1146&crid=0&calpgid=61&calcid=797 "Calling all Oakland University basketball fans! Come cheer on the Golden Grizzlies this Saturday, December 18, 2010 as they face the University of Michigan Wolverines at Crisler Arena at 12 p.m. Last Saturday, Oakland nearly ousted Michigan State at the Palace with a score of 77-76. Tuesday night, Oakland upset #7 Tennessee, 89-82! The Grizzlies are looking to continue their success in Ann Arbor this Saturday! Come join the OUAA for brunch at Café Habana located on 211 East Washington Street in downtown Ann Arbor from 10 to11:30 a.m. before the noon tip off against the Wolverines. Come together with other alumni and friends to celebrate the Grizzlies and build pre-game spirit. Food is on your own, but free Grizzly gear will be available for those at the pre-game gathering." 3. How do you all think having Laval Lucas-Perry is going to help our guys prepare? Big help or no help at all?? I have no idea myself, your thoughts. -BigGrizz
