Interesting to see that Bader got the start instead of Wright.

Yeah, I wonder what's up with Wright. Bader's off to a great start, though, with a couple of early 3's. Oakland looking good so far, up 15-5.

Terrible end to the half. We let them cut it to 8, and we need to regroup at the half. I'd rather be up 8 than down 8, but this was a game we could have had almost out of reach at the half. But rather than being up 20, we're up 8. We need to adjust to shut down Roundtree.

Per the OUgrizzlies twitter: "Wright a little banged up so coming off bench."
Turnovers and fouls, man. We shoot ourselves in the foot as both are controllable.
Definitely happy to be up by 8. No doubt Oakland is the better team but ORU has better overall weapon in Morrison. Valentine did a good job in the first few minutes but then Bader could not contain him.
Benson needs to do more moves like he did when he was patient and took his man by dribbling and getting a high percentage shot rather than hesitating then putting up a J.
I love Roundtree's game and hope Will can continue to guard him effectively. Roundtree took Ilija to school the first time Will sat for a few minutes.
Kampe noted at the half-time interview with ORU telecast that they weren't playing any offense that half and need to correct that or the second half would be bad.
Come on, Grizzlies!

Good situation for Oakland. We're up 5 with a little under 7 to go. Let's see how we can finish.

Good win. We closed it out down the stretch.

Not happy with the defense (again) tonight but I like they way they are taking care of business late in the game on the road.
85-77 Final OU!!!

Valentine with two straight games with a solid overall performance. Great effort by the sophomore on both ends of the floor. That three he hit was huge. Team looked lost at times without any semblance of a PG running things, but oh well they got the win. Kampe post-game: dl.dropbox.com/u/16498733/KampeORU.wavI believe a graphic will adequately sum up Will Hudson's game tonight:

Fantastic.
A victory at ORU is always a quality victory. From the point where the teams were tied 50-50, OU played clutch basketball.
Consider the things OU overcame: Morrison's monster game, Wright's apparent injury, and the turmoil surrounding Drew Maynard.
Let's give props to Will Hudson for his 20-10 night and to Drew Maynard for that clutch three-point shot in the closing minute. Yowzer.
