WTF was that. That's beyond a terrible loss. It was a deserved loss. That's what it was. I mentioned earlier credit to YSU for bringing the fight without their best player Bobby Hain. Our guys just assumed because they're at home they can just show up anytime and win.

LOL!!!! Like I said in a previous post we are not a good rebounding team. Stats stay we are but going by the eye test they give up way too many offensive rebounds. That cost us a game tonight. Gibson disappearance?!?! I'll have to call out Kampe on that one... Matchup there big on Hayes and then bring in Mills?!?! WHERE WAS GIBSON?! Seriously that dude had a career day because Kampe wouldn't put Gibson in the game. Kampe got out coached on this on fellas. Not much else to say. They shot lights out, many uncontested shots. Won't win squat with that crappy D.

Not quite sure what to say about that one. Up until tonight, OU has done a fine job with 3-point defense, in fact on track to the lowest percentage in DI era. Then YSU comes in and just lights it up. Was that an aberration? Lack of effort?
Sorry that such a solid night from Nick Daniels was spoiled in defeat.
Will be interested to hear the post-game comments, especially regarding Gibson not playing much of second half (was it because the game was uptempo? doghouse? etc?).

What a crap game from start to finish. It seemed like Kampe had no idea how to game plan against this team. They're a small team so instead of exploiting them down low we consistently run a lineup with 4 guards and a forward playing center. Utter trash that we allow 100 in regulation

Our guys just assumed because they're at home they can just show up anytime and win. Completely disgusting effort tonight. Total agreement that this one was deserved, and YSU should get the credit. I almost wish we had lost by 20. The only plus is that this embarrassingly soft, lackadaisical joke of a game happened one game before we play Valpo. I hope our guys are borderline suicidal after this one. Not literally (or at least not quite), but we absolutely have to come out on Friday night and go to war to get some dignity back. Leave teeth and blood on the court, if necessary - either ours or Valpo's. If we have an all-out bloodbath and still lose to Valpo, then so be it. But we can't sleepwalk like we did tonight. Inexcusable.

Oakland: 13 turnovers. 8 missed free throws. YSU: 15 offensive rebounds. I don't know how we let Jorden Kaufman beat us.
Nick Daniels was the one bright light tonight. I love that kid. He has persevered. His work ethic should be a model for his teammates.

Coach has to do something to light a fire under PG. In addition to that - there were too many no look passes --- too many turnovers --- we got totally outplayed and YSU made shots. Kiss that at large bid good bye --- guys need to play better.

I am really embarrassed by this loss. Valpo is now in control of the 1 seed...the game on Friday is even more important now that we lost this one against YSU.
Just like ouguy pointed out I am confused by the line-ups that were played tonight. A real missed opportunity to run a bigger line-up against YSUs smaller team.
Kay is one of the best players, if not the best, player to ever play at OU. But he can not continue to play 40min a game. I don't know if someone can make it through an entire season playing 40min a game every single game.
The crowd was asleep for most of the game. I guess no one learned what to do from the MSU fans at the palace. The Grizz Gang was small and quiet for most of the game too. First day back on campus for students and that was the turn out?
Why is Friday's game a white out? White is not even one of our colors. Does anyone even have a white OU shirt? Why can't we have a black out? Isn't white a Valpo color? I just don't understand.
Anyone else feel that the MSU loss is starting to feel like our loss to Pitt a few years ago?
Sorry for the complaining. Just upset about the game. I don't like it, but I still plan on wearing white to the game on Friday.
